Storytelling plays a big part in my practice which is why I love illustration as it has the power to convey stories. With a single image, it can move people and transform the ordinary into the extraordinary.
Line filler
Gnome Heist is an original story that centres on a gang of gnomes. By day they are ordinary garden gnomes but by night...They’re first-rate burglars! They terrorise their neighbourhood, stealing anything that they can get their little grubby hands on. This children’s picture book tells the story of the gnome gang’s biggest heist yet. 
For this storybook, I focused on developing the story and character profiles and creating dynamic layouts. I also illustrated the characters and backgrounds using both traditional and digital media.
Unusual Sea Creatures is a series of illustrations that help introduce children to deep sea creatures. From Axolotls to the Blobfish, it re-imagines these creatures into cute and child-friendly characters. The illustrations were also screen printed onto various fabrics to create accessories.
